NJP / Bagdogra – Gangtok
Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, guests will be warmly received and begin their scenic drive towards Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. The journey passes through winding mountain roads, lush green valleys, and riverside landscapes, offering a refreshing introduction to the Himalayas. Upon reaching Gangtok, guests will check in to the hotel and relax after the journey. The rest of the day is free for leisure, allowing guests to explore nearby areas or simply enjoy the pleasant mountain atmosphere. Overnight stay will be at the Gangtok hotel.
Gangtok Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, guests will begin a full day of Gangtok local sightseeing, exploring the cultural and natural highlights of the city. The tour includes visits to popular attractions such as Tashi View Point, offering panoramic views of snow-clad peaks, Ganesh Tok, a peaceful hilltop temple known for its serene surroundings, and Hanuman Tok, one of the highest viewpoints in Gangtok with breathtaking valley views. Guests will also visit Banjhakri Falls & Energy Park, a scenic waterfall surrounded by landscaped gardens depicting local folklore, and Enchey Monastery, an important Buddhist monastery known for its spiritual significance. Later, guests can explore MG Marg, the vibrant heart of Gangtok, ideal for shopping, cafés, and evening walks. After sightseeing, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Gangtok – East Sikkim Excursion (Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir)
After breakfast, guests will proceed for a mesmerizing excursion towards East Sikkim, a region known for its dramatic landscapes and high-altitude beauty. The journey takes you to the famous Tsomgo (Changu) Lake, a sacred glacial lake situated at an altitude of over 12,000 feet. The lake changes colors with the seasons and remains frozen during winter, making it one of the most photographed locations in Sikkim. The journey continues towards Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a revered shrine dedicated to an Indian Army soldier, believed to protect the region. The site holds deep emotional and spiritual significance for both locals and travelers. Please note: Nathula Pass is not included in the package. If guests wish to visit Nathula Pass, it can be arranged at an additional cost, subject to permit availability and weather conditions. After completing the sightseeing, guests will return to Gangtok for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Gangtok – NJP / Bagdogra Drop
After breakfast, guests will check out from the hotel and begin their return journey to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport with wonderful memories of the Sikkim Himalayas. The tour concludes with a comfortable drop, marking the end of a beautiful and refreshing mountain holiday.
