NJP / Bagdogra – Lachen
The journey begins with a pickup from NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, followed by a scenic drive towards Lachen, a picturesque mountain village in North Sikkim. En route, guests will enjoy breathtaking views and visit several beautiful sightseeing spots. The first stop is Singhik View Point, which offers a stunning panoramic view of Mt. Kanchenjunga and the surrounding Himalayan range. The journey continues to Seven Sisters Waterfall, a majestic multi-tiered waterfall cascading down the rocky cliffs, followed by a visit to Bhim Nala (Amitabh Bachchan Falls), one of the tallest and most powerful waterfalls in Sikkim. Guests will also pass through Chungthang, a sacred confluence town where the Lachen and Lachung rivers meet. After enjoying these scenic attractions, guests will proceed towards Lachen, where they will check in to the hotel and relax amidst the tranquil mountain surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the Lachen hotel.
Lachen – Gurudongmar Lake – Lachung
Early in the morning, guests will begin their journey to the world-famous Gurudongmar Lake, one of the highest lakes in the world, located at an altitude of approximately 17,800 feet. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks, this sacred lake holds deep spiritual significance for Buddhists, Sikhs, and Hindus alike. The crystal-clear blue waters and pristine Himalayan backdrop make it one of the most breathtaking destinations in Sikkim. (Kala Patthar is an optional point and can be covered at an additional cost. Guests may discuss this directly with the driver, subject to weather and road conditions.) After spending time at Gurudongmar Lake, guests will return to Lachen for lunch and then proceed towards Lachung, another beautiful mountain village known for its alpine scenery and peaceful atmosphere. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax. Overnight stay will be at the Lachung hotel.
Lachung – Yumthang Valley – Gangtok
After an early breakfast, guests will head towards the enchanting Yumthang Valley, popularly known as the “Valley of Flowers.” Surrounded by snow-clad mountains, alpine meadows, and the flowing Yumthang River, this valley offers one of the most scenic landscapes in Sikkim. Guests may also visit Zero Point (Yumesamdong) / Mount Katao at an additional cost, subject to weather conditions and permit availability. These high-altitude points offer spectacular snow views and are accessible only with local permissions. After sightseeing, the journey continues towards Gangtok, passing through scenic mountain roads and river valleys. Upon arrival, guests will check in to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Gangtok – NJP / Bagdogra Drop
After breakfast, guests will check out from the hotel and begin their return journey to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, marking the end of a memorable Himalayan holiday filled with breathtaking views and unforgettable experiences.
